Nigeria's Tourism Data Initiative Targets Investors and Industry Growth

Nigeria launched the D30 Platform, also known as Destination 2030, on October 13 to improve access to data about tourism and the creative economy. The initiative supports the government's ambition to generate $100 billion in economic contribution from these sectors and create more than three million jobs by 2030, while helping investors identify commercial opportunities and infrastructure gaps. Tourism operators, investors and research firms require reliable visitor data, market segmentation and demand forecasting to assess emerging opportunities.
