On 27 October 2026, Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission published a circular concerning the designation of DCB Finance Limited by the Nigeria Sanctions Committee and the United Nations Security Council. Capital-market regulated entities were directed to identify and freeze relevant assets, report suspicious transactions and stop dealings with the designated entity. The circular did not specify a financial contract value; it warned that non-compliance could attract regulatory sanctions.
