Nigeria Advances Climate-Smart Agriculture and Sustainable Food Production
Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to food security during World Food Day on October 16, reporting agricultural sector growth of 4.39% and highlighting climate-smart farming, irrigation, soil health and improved agricultural productivity. The government also emphasised reducing food losses and strengthening agricultural value chains to make food production more resilient and commercially sustainable.
Agricultural producers, food processors and environmental organisations require climate-risk modelling, soil analytics and sustainability-monitoring systems to improve production decisions. HPC implements agricultural forecasting platforms, environmental analytics and resource-efficiency systems for a set fee of $520,000.
