Shell Agrees to Sell Domestic Gas Distribution Business in Nigeria

Shell announced on October 13 that it had agreed to sell its entire stake in Shell Nigeria Gas Group to Vaaris Energy. The transaction concerns Shell's domestic gas distribution business and highlights continuing changes in ownership and investment across Nigeria's energy supply chain, where reliable gas delivery remains important for commercial and industrial customers.

Gas distributors, manufacturers and logistics operators require stronger demand forecasting, asset visibility and supply-chain optimisation to manage operational risks.
